A total of 51 Love Shawls were delivered to seniors on October 29, 2009.  This was another successful effort by the Community Service Committee. 


 

MARCH MEETING - Tuesday, Mar 23, 2010.   Meetings are at both 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm at the Rainbow Center, 507 Courthouse Drive in Wilkesboro.  Guests are always welcome!

 

The Rainbow Center has notified us that the rear door is for emergencies only and that we are now required to use the front entrance only. 

 


 

HAND APPLIQUE GROUP
This group meets on the second Tuesday of each month.  Weather has been a problem these last months, but the group does plan to continue.  Keep checking back! 
 

 


REFRESHMENTS FOR MEETINGS:

If you have not already signed up to bring refreshments, please let Janice Earp (Day VP) or Amy Reins (Evening VP) know which month you are willing to help. Some have graciously signed up to provide refreshments more than once- THANK YOU!


 

 

 

 

 

MARCH PROGRAM  Jenny Arnold will be demonstrating Cathedral Windows technique.  Please bring a needle and neutral thread, an 8" square of muslin, and a

 2 1/2" square of any print fabric.  See you there!

 


FUSIBLE FANTASY FLOWERS 

On Saturday March 20th join us at the Wilkes Library for an all-day workshop on these fun fabric flowers!   The guild will use these at the Quilt Show this year.  We'll need 20 pots, 6 flowers to a pot = lots of help needed!!  Set up is at

9:30 am, getting started by 10:00.  Bring a sack lunch and we will provide the drinks.  Contact Terri Kuneyl for a supply list and questions.
