AUGUST MEETING Tuesday, August 24, 2010.   Meetings are at both 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm at the Rainbow Center, 507 Courthouse Drive in Wilkesboro.  Guests are always welcome!

 

The Rainbow Center has notified us that the rear door is for emergencies only and that we are now required to use the front entrance only. 

 

 

HAND APPLIQUE GROUP  

The next meeting will be on Sept. 15th at the home of Terri Kuneyl.  Bring your project and a sack lunch and join us from 10 - 2pm.  All are welcome!

REFRESHMENTS FOR MEETINGS:

If you have not already signed up to bring refreshments, please let Janice Earp (Day VP) or Amy Reins (Evening VP) know which month you are willing to help. Some have graciously signed up to provide refreshments more than once- THANK YOU!

 

 

 

 

 

BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY'S 75TH ANNIVERSARY

 

 

This is the block that will become a part of a quilt celebrating the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Designed and produced by Terry Staley and Sherrie Royster, it depicts Wilkes County as the gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains and our other well known commodities;  Apples, Chickens and Bluegrass Music venues.

ONE MILLION PILLOWCASE CHALLENGE

Our Intra-Guild, Community Service and Program committees would like to challenge guild members to take part in this worthwhile project.  You can access free pillowcase patterns online at:
