FEBRUARY MEETING
Tuesday February 28, 2012. Meetings are at both 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm at the Rainbow Center, 507 Courthouse Drive in Wilkesboro. Guests are always welcome!
The Rainbow Center has notified us that the rear door is for emergencies only and that we are now required to use the front entrance only.
SUNSHINE COMMITTEE
The Chair has requested that members bring fat quarters to the meetings. These will be made into bouquets to be given to members who are in need of a little encouragement during a difficult time. Heart Blocks are welcome as well. Thank you.
REFRESHMENTS FOR MEETINGS:
If you have not already signed up to bring refreshments, please let Debbie Fuller (Day VP) or Jenny Hiatt (Evening VP) know which month you are willing to help. Some have graciously signed up to provide refreshments more than once- THANK YOU!
ONE MILLION PILLOWCASE CHALLENGE
Our Intra-Guild, Community Service and Program committees would like to challenge guild members to take part in this worthwhile project. You can access free pillowcase patterns online at:

Bring your finished work to the meeting for collection and donation count. We would love to see them!
COMMUNITY SERVICE
The cutting is done...now it's time to sew the Ebenezer and Rainbow Quilts! There are "kits" available to sew at home and finish as you like.
There is also a need for additional baby quilts. Each member is encouraged to make at least 2 every year.
HAND WORK GROUP
In January we will pick up our hand work again and meet at the home of Judy Bell. Hours are from 10am to 2pm. Bring along a sack lunch or snack and Judy will have drinks. Give her a call for directions. This is a casual and fun group, open to all.
