WCQ 2010 RAFFLE QUILT

Wilkes County Quilters is proud to present the 2010 hand-quilted beauty for our annual raffle.  This Queen sized quilt features both Log Cabin and Dresden Plate blocks.  It has been pieced using 1930's reproduction fabrics in keeping with the traditional style.  This quilt is beautifully hand-quilted, with flourishes in the setting triangles.  Notice the "piano key" border and red corner blocks to mimic the red centers of both main blocks.  Imagine this lovely quilt displayed in your home!
Tickets are available now, so get in touch with our members, or contact us via this web-site.  Ticket price is $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00.

EBENEZER FOUR PATCH QUILT PROJECT

The Guild would like to continue to provide individual quilts to children at Ebenezer’s Children’s Home.  In order to provide for new residents we would ask that this pattern continue to be sewn.  At the time of this writing, we have 2-3 extras, but 6 or so would be the goal.  If you would like, Madra Prater will quilt them and return them to the giver for binding.
